Our gym has a variety of exercise machines, free weights and dumbells and a 10-foot boxing ring to allow students to learn and practice newly developed martial arts skills.
We have a fully functioning recording studio and recording room, replete with guitars, drums, amplification and all recording equipment to allow the young people we work with the opportunity to explore their musical aspirations.
​We have the facilities to allow young people to explore their inner artists, whether through conventional methods of drawing and painting or newer multimedia technology, such as visual editing software or using cameras and photography equipment and techniques.
The young people we work with are able to learn the skills behind trades such as carpentry and bricklaying to enable them to create and develop skills necessary to explore projects or jobs linked to trade skills.

With our onsite mechanics, the young people we work with can explore the skills necessary for repair and customisation of a variety of motor vehicles.
Thurrock has many areas of geological importance and several Essex Wildlife Trust nature reserves to enable us to work with young people and develop their knowledge of the local ecology, biodiversity and how to encourage a more diverse biosphere.
