As a positive activity and education coordination assistant, trainees will work alongside the project lead to organise, promote and participate in positive activities and educational opportunities for the community, and clients.
Trainees will be given relevant training and will have the opportunity to study for a qualification.
Duties and responsibilities:
Planning and facilitating events and activities;
Discussing with customers/service users what activities they would like to partake in and what is available;
Implementing activities to be inclusive of all service users;
Liaising with external vendors;
Managing, organising calendars and diaries, and planning;
Communicating effectively with customers and clients;
Liaising with the marketing team to ensure advertising and promotions of events and activities are effective.
Evolve Youth Academy is a community-integrated CIC that provides several youth-based qualifications, projects, and activities alongside commercial education, mechanics, music, and arts work.
The Evolve Youth Academy facilitates alternative education learning for young people in care & not currently in education or training and does so through a holistic and skills-based curriculum. We work with young people who are no longer in or are unable to access mainstream education.
We also organise and run community activities and work closely with other community groups and schools.

The applicant will receive guidance and mentorship and will be given the skills to develop within their role. This will be bolstered by the opportunity to obtain a Level 1 Award in Introduction to Health and Social Care and Children's and Young People's Settings.
We also have IAG qualified staff who will guide the students through the next phases of their life, providing them with CV writing opportunities, mock interview sessions, helping them to contact and meet with relevant employers or educators and help them to access relevant IAG seminars and opportunities.

As a marketing and strategic administration assistant, trainees will be responsible for administrative support for marketing processes and company development.
Trainees will assist with social media development, company marketing, financial and statistical analysis, and duties, general administration duties and will be given training, and will have the opportunity to apply this to the working world.
General administration duties;
Assisting in the smooth running of the team;
Processing invoices;
Communicating effectively with customers;
Responding to incoming inquiries via email or telephone;
Organising research for statistical analysis.

There are several vital marketing and strategic development processes that take place each day., including marketing online and onsite activities, creating social media posts, updating and developing the company website, and statistical analysis.
These are all vital aspects of our day-to-day work as, without these components, we would not be able to offer our services. Besides our day-to-day processes relating to the projects, we essentially have a retail arm, selling our online qualifications.

Learn repair techniques and train for motor vehicle mechanics qualification.
Trainees will learn how to repair vehicles through formal training sessions and hands-on work:
Repair vehicles based on the diagnosed issues;
Inspect and test vehicles;
Maintain a clear workspace and customer areas;
Greet customers upon their arrival and take their detailed history of vehicle performance of mechanical failures;
Provide customers with estimates for repairs and replacements;
Complete appropriate documentation for each repair;
Maintain good customer service;
There are numerous mechanical maintenance roles on-site, performing simple automotive repairs such as replacing vehicle fluids, replacing car batteries, following car checklists, and maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Alevo Autos is the mechanic's education part of Evolve Youth Academy and started as a local garage operating in Thurrock; now, as part of Evolve Youth Academy, we are ready to help our staff and students Rebuild their self-esteem, Educate themselves through cooperative learning and Motivate themselves for a change in their lives that will enable them to become a professional working within the automotive industry.
Alongside the commercial garage, which carries out repair work in our 2 lane garage, we are also proud to deliver the Skills and Education Group approved Level 1 Motor Vehicle Mechanics course to all staff and students, and we are IMI affiliated.

We can offer applicants the opportunity to not only work in a commercial garage, learning all manner of repair work from experienced staff with expertise in motor vehicle repair, but they will also be able to gain a Level 1 Award, Certificate, or Diploma in Motor Vehicle mechanics. Applicants have access to the staff gym , kitchen, and office space to complete their paperwork.
